All customers of MOVES Mobile Veterinary Specialists are advised that the per-invoice Service Fee is changing to $20.00 effective August 1st, 2024. This fee applies to each MOVES invoice on a per-patient basis and is charged in addition to the published fees for clinical services provided by your MOVES specialist.

Why does MOVES charge a service fee?

We’re all aware that the cost of services at specialty/referral hospitals is increasing dramatically, with many locations implementing significant price increases multiple times per year. MOVES is committed to broadening access to speciality care by maintaining a balanced pricing model which fairly compensates our specialists for their time, skills, and expertise, while also preserving margin for the benefit of our partner hospitals. Rather than raising prices on our clinical services more frequently or more aggressively, the flat Service Fee helps us defray the cost of some of our non-clinical expenses such as fuel & automotive maintenance, software development, payment processing, and other concierge services provided by our administrative team members for the benefit and convenience of our partner hospitals.

How Often Does the Service Fee Change?

As rarely as possible. It has been two years since we last made a change to the Service Fee, and we make every effort to keep our administrative/operating overhead low so we can maximize the margin available to our partner clinics.
