{I got hit with a belt buckle on the side of my knee. When it first happened it hurt to stand or walk. That part got better but now its got a huge bruise on it and its getten more swollen everyday. And it hurts to bend my knee. And if i barely touch it, i get a really sharp pain. Whats wrong with it? Did i fracture it? If not what else could it be?
|A 12 years old girl broke her radius and ulna(complete fracture). How long will it take up to heal a bone fracture? When she will be normal after castings?

|My brother in-law broke his leg in two places during a motorcycle touring (some drunk redneck rammed my bro’s Harley with his truck). The surgeon installed some scaryass orthopedic thingy that look like the lovechild of SAW torture instrument and bird cage.

Our mare has just been diagnosed with a broken pedal bone. She is 15 years old and is a retired racing brood mare. She does not box rest well always wanting to be out with the other horses and the vet has said she could need up to 8 months box rest. Any suggestions .
