I have a "rescue" mare/paint that when found needed & had much farrier/vet attention to her hoofs. she is approx 11ish. She is a beatiful gaited mover, & can clear 2' w/ease. However she now pinns her ears back when asked to go into the canter, looks like her hind right hock needs attention as well as I noted her neck is becoming crusty..she wears & does not appear lame...first cut down on any sweet feed?, she is exercises regurally, did eat pasture grass this spring but not now...she is pastured w/2others..what shoud I do bar shoes
